Our most popular lightweight blankets are made with a single layer of the softest natural, certified-organic cotton flannel and bound with naturally-dyed organically-grown cotton.
The Essential Organic Colour-Bound Blanket in Swaddle size measures approximately 28 by 32 inches. This blanket is the perfect size for swaddling, cuddling, burping, and is ample enough to use as a light crib blanket.
The Essential Organic Colour-Bound Blanket in Sleep measures approximately 40 by 58 inches. The perfect size for growing children, this lightweight blanket is designed for the crib or toddler bed, but would also make a perfect daycare blanket
Made in Canada, each blanket has been pre-washed and pre-shrunk in chlorine/phosphate free laundry soap and tumbled dry. Please note: the fabric dyes used are naturally derived and have not been fixed with conventional chemicals. As such, they are prone to fading with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and should be washed in cold water with mild laundry soap and tumble or hang to dry. Do not bleach. Subtle variations in the fabric color and gentle fading may occur due to the nature of vegetable and mineral-based dyes.
