Varicose Veins, Circulatory Disorders, Haemorrhoids
This combination helps restore proper venous circulation. The ingredients have hundreds of years of traditional use behind them. Modern clinical and laboratory work confirms that they are effective in protecting and restoring the body’s circulatory system.
This combination is used primarily:
• For the relief of blood stasis and haemorrhoids
• For the relief of varicose veins and spider veins
This synergistic combination is uniquely focused on the circulatory system, with each of the ingredient herbs contributing a relevant nuance to the action of the whole. Hawthorn and yarrow, for instance, are hypotensive and peripheral vasodilators. Stoneroot and prickly ash are alteratives that are specifically tonic to the veins. Horse chestnut too is strongly venotonic, as is bilberry. Meanwhile ginkgo is a vigorous circulatory stimulant. Together these herbs comprise a unique therapeutic response to the problems of venous insufficiency.
Combinations to consider: Since haemorrhoids and other circulatory problems are one sign of compromised liver function, consider using Veinasis in combination with Hepato DR™. Also consider using Veinasis with BulkLax™ and/or CascaraLax™ for haemorrhoids when constipation is a factor. Add Sursum Corda™ for extra circulatory support.
Administration: (adults) take 30-60 drops (1-2 ml) 3 times daily in a little water, before meals.

A NOTE ON TINCTURES
Tinctures are more readily absorbed by the body and have a high degree of bio-availability. As well, they have a long shelf life.
Sometimes people ask us why tinctures are alcohol-based. There are very good reasons. Alcohol is critically important in the extraction of an herb's medicinal ingredients. It also helps to stabilize and preserve them. Alcohol is the ideal carrier substance, conveying the therapeutic goodness of the herb to the body. In itself, too, science has proven that alcohol enhances the immune system and its defences.
As for the amount of alcohol taken in an average dose of tincture, you'll be surprised to learn that it's about the same as what you'd find in an overly ripe banana!
