Synthetic resins such as PVP (polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer), acrylate copolymer, VA (vinyl acrylic) copolymer, and acrylamide polymer, have been found in almost all natural hair styling spray products. They form plastic film to hold hairs in place. These synthetic resins are petroleum derived, so are not the best choice to enhance your hairs' natural beauty. When inhaled, can also cause health problems. Synthetic resins are not readily biodegradable, do not meet our ecofriendly needs. Suncoat has chosen sugar-biopolymer (polysaccharides) instead of petroleum derived synthetic resins. Polysaccharides are essentially complex carbohydrates and act similarly to synthetic resins in terms of hold, without harming us or the environment. They are derived from natural renewable resources, readily biodegradable, a superior choice for your hair and the environment. Suncoat All Natural Hairspray is also alcohol-free which keeps hair from drying out. Suncoat All Natural Hairspray is not tested on animals.
